2026 Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Barrier Draw

The countdown to one of Tasmania’s premier racing events begins with the annual Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Barrier Draw, to be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, 4 February at Ladbrokes Park Elwick. Attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments while the final fields and barriers are revealed.

Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Day promises an outstanding program of elite racing. In the lead-up to the feature event, the day will showcase the $125,000 Aviso Tas Strutt Stakes, the $150,000 Wrest Point Thomas Lyons Stakes, and the $150,000 Kevin Sharkie Mystic Journey Stakes, culminating in the highlight of the carnival — the Ladbrokes Hobart Cup.

Gates for the 2026 Ladbrokes Hobart Cup will open at 11:00am on Sunday, 8 February. TRC Fashions on the Field registrations commence at 12:00pm, with judging beginning from 1:00pm. With live entertainment on the main stage throughout the afternoon, Cup Day offers a vibrant mix of racing, fashion and entertainment not to be missed.
